This position is in an exciting fast-paced design-to- build environment where our client takes novel (cutting edge) concepts from paper to model to the floor for integration. The Sr. Systems Engineer plays an important role in the process of understanding customer needs, converting these into requirements, and developing solutions in close collaboration with the broader team. The successful candidate will be required to coordinate with multi-disciplined groups within the organization to successfully create systems for microwave measurement test solutions in a multitude of technologies and disciplines.
The Candidate should have considerable understanding of utilizing program management tools to help guide through a program’s phases for RF/Antenna/Electromagnetic/Mechanical/Civil experience. Ability to elaborate on technical content will help minimize program risks while maintaining schedule within the duration of the program. In addition, managing complex programs to ensure all the financial costs are reviewed per a budget, analysis risks, and any schedule impacts within the project life cycle. Travel may require for this role to meet customers in person for any technical interchanges and accept final deliverable of system as well as progress of more complex programs.

Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of programs requiring expertise in financial, schedule, technical impacts, technical interchanges with customers, while providing a thorough cost vs schedule impacts are shown to understand progress within the project life cycle
- Responsible to prepare & discuss presentations of project technical content to both internal and external customers with the assistance of applications engineers
- Collaborate with our global system & applications engineering teams while taking ownership of complete lifecycle of design build programs utilizing providing multi-disciplinary engineering analysis/practices to support in the design, development, production, installation & testing of precision antenna measurement system and subsystems.
- Participate in business development including development and implementation strategies for proposal development of future programs
Requirements:
- US Citizen
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 5-7 years of experience in low-voltage, heavy duty electrical equipment
- Proficient with MS Windows and its office programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong experience with financial costs & managing labor expectations
- Experience with PMBOK, a plus
- Experience with management & delivery of Electromechanical turnkey systems
- Experience with DOD contracts & understanding standard US Gov’t Practices
- Ability to obtain US Gov’t security clearance
- Experience in SAP, a plus
- PMP, a plus
- Self –Driven and motivated to solve problems independently
